Dry brush your body before showering. Grip dry brush in the palm of your hand, between the cotton strap and handle. Start at your feet and work upwards in long, wide strokes. Use a circular motion on your torso. Apply more pressure where needed and less pressure where skin is more sensitive. Do not dry brush broken or wounded skin. HOW TO CLEAN + STORE YOUR DRY BRUSH: To clean your dry brush use a mild soap, add a few drops on the bristles and rub with your hand, add a little warm water to create a lather on the bristles. Rinse bristles under tap using warm water. Try to avoid getting too much of the wood handle wet when rinsing as it will break down the wood. Let your brush dry, bristle side down on a clean towel. How often you clean your brush depends on how often you use it. If used daily your brush will probably need to be cleaned every 8 weeks. Store your dry brush in its storage bag in a cool dry area away from any heat or water sources.
